Everything about this Tapas bar is off the chain. The people that work there are phenomenal. Me and my Girls have been a few times for the fast couple of weekends and we try different menu items everytime we go. I enjoy everything everytime. The top tier service and food is what brings us back everytime. We will definitely be back this weekend. The outdoor seating is amazing.
Delicious! We had both the beef and chicken and really enjoyed both. Nice and moist and the crust was yummy. These were our first ever pasties so we can't conpare them to anything, but we certaimly enhoyed them and highly recommend!
Stopped in for an early lunch on our way out of town. You order at the counter & take it to go. Tho there are a few tables outside, if you simply can't wait to dig in. I ordered beef with gravy & the hubs opted for the chicken with gravy. The prices were reasonable & service was fast. We paid cash to avoid the credit card fee. We enjoyed both, tho the beef seemed more flavorful. Neither of them were overly salted, which we were concerned may be an issue. The crust was dense in some areas, tho it had a good flavor. I'd certainly stop again. We also grabbed fish dip for later or gifting.
The veggie pasty was delicious. It didn't really need gravy imo. My husband had the beef pasty and enjoyed it with gravy. I have had pasties at a couple of other places, but this was by far my favorite! $7.50 for a pasty and $1.00 for gravy, good value! It's a nice size pasty. There are no tables inside but a couple outside if you want to eat there.
Best pastie I've ever had! So happy they had a good vegetable option full of flavor and big hunks of veggies.
A couple of friends riding to Marquette with us didn't know what a pasty was, so we stopped here to give them an authentic taste of the UP. I got both the chicken and the veggie pasty, along with some smoked whitefish. I planned to make two meals out of it, but it was too good to stop eating so everything was gone in one sitting. Excellent place to stop on your way to the western part of the UP.
Never heard of a pasty until our trip to the UP, so we had to stop and try one. Delicious!! Suzy's is a great little spot right off the main highway. Picnic tables outside for a quick meal, and super friendly service.
Very tasty pasties served either hot or cold for a reasonable price. They have traditional beef, chicken, or veggie varieties. I had the beef and thought it had a great crust, spice level, and overall flavor. I will be back for more.
